You’re not alone, and it won’t. Most of your day is candid: I’m watching for real moments with your people, not asking you to perform. For portraits, I’ll give you simple prompts and keep it short. If you’d like a practice round, an engagement session lets you get comfortable with me before the wedding.

You don’t have to plan the photos on your own. Before your wedding, we’ll build your timeline together: getting ready, the first look, family photos, travel from your ceremony to your reception, and how much time each one really needs. On the day, I’ll tell you where to be, so you can stay present.

No. Portraits are planned into your timeline so they’re quick and focused, and then I step back. The rest of your photos and film are candid and timeless: the hugs, the happy tears and the laughter as they actually happen.

Before your wedding, I’ll ask who and what matters most to you, like your dad’s first look, a grandparent’s dance or a toast you know will be emotional. Those go into our plan so I know what’s going to happen and I’m in position when they do happen. With photo and film as one team, there are more eyes on your day. For larger weddings and church ceremonies, I recommend a second photographer to catch reactions from the other side of the aisle.

Yes, and I love them. I check your church’s photo rules with your coordinator and priest ahead of time, never use flash during the liturgy, and plan family portraits so every grandparent is in a photo before you leave. One team means one plan, one timeline call and one contract. It also means a photographer and filmmaker who already work together instead of competing for the same spot. Bundled photo and video collections usually cost less than booking two separate vendors.

I’m based in Colorado Springs and travel anywhere in Colorado at no extra cost, from Denver and the mountains to Pueblo. I’m happy to talk about weddings outside Colorado too.

Most weddings need 8 to 9 hours to cover everything from getting ready through the grand exit. Smaller weddings and short receptions often fit in 5 hours. Once I see your timeline, I’ll tell you honestly which fits.

Every collection includes an online gallery with full-resolution downloads and printing rights, and every photography collection includes a genuine leather heirloom album. Albums for parents and grandparents are available as gifts.

Most couples book 9 to 12 months ahead, and May through October Saturdays fill first. A $750 retainer holds your date, and the rest can be split into payments before the wedding.
